At about 13 arcminutes in size, the Helix Nebula is one of the largest planetary nebulae in the sky, located in the constellation Aquarius. At least two galaxies are also visible here: starting at the star in the upper left corner of the picture, the fuzzy dot below and a little to the left is PGC 69039 (mag 15). Starting from the star again, moving about twice as far to the right and a little up leads to PGC 170394 (mag 16).

This image is the result of 5 hours of exposure: 1 hour RGB, 2 hours H-alpha, 2 hours O-III.
